CAT 2026 Test Series: Compare Features Before Buying

Choose a CAT test series by trying its explanations, analysis and interface, then checking how much of the package you can realistically use before November 29. This comparison covers verified features from IMS and Cracku; it is not an exhaustive market ranking or a claim that either provider guarantees a percentile.

Last verified: 7 October 2026. This is an independent preparation guide; applications, admit cards and official notices are available through iimcat.ac.in.

Verified package features checked October 7

Features below come from the providers’ own pages, not an independent test-quality benchmark. Package names matter: a full-length-only offer may differ from a bundle containing sectionals.

OptionListed featuresWhat to check
IMS SimCAT Core 202640 SimCATs and 30 CAT sectionalsWhether CAT-only practice meets your needs
IMS SimCAT Ultimate 2026Adds practice resources and mocks for other MBA examsWhether you will actually take those additional exams
Cracku CAT 2026 test-series bundle25 premium full-length mocks and 45 sectionals; video solutions and analysisSelect the bundle rather than assuming all offers include sectionals

Use a trial before choosing

Attempt a sample under time limits, then review two questions you got wrong and one you skipped. Check whether the explanation resolves your specific confusion. Assess how clearly the dashboard separates time spent, accuracy and section performance.

Do not buy solely because the interface looks polished or a large question count is advertised. A test series is useful only if it helps you identify and repair mistakes.

Check the actual checkout terms

Prices, discounts and package contents can change. Compare the payable total including tax, rather than an old headline discount. Save the package description and receipt if you buy.

  • Exact package name and full-length versus sectional inclusions.
  • Tests already available versus tests scheduled for later release.
  • Access expiry and whether it covers your planned preparation period.
  • Solution format and the analysis available after submission.
  • Device requirements, support channel and refund terms.
  • Any existing access bundled with a coaching course you already own.

Match the purchase to your preparation

If you already have a full-length series, first check whether its unused tests and analysis cover your remaining schedule. A second provider can add unfamiliar questions, but it also creates more review work.

If you are weak in one section, consider whether targeted practice and sectionals are more useful than another large full-length bundle. If you are preparing for several MBA exams, compare the exact exam coverage and current syllabus of the wider package.

Compare usable value, not advertised volume

Suppose a hypothetical ₹3,000 package contains 30 tests but your calendar permits only six thoroughly reviewed attempts. Your practical cost is ₹500 per reviewed test, not ₹100 per listed test. This is a budgeting example, not a provider price.

Write your next three weeks of practice into a calendar before paying. Reserve time for review and follow-up drills. A smaller usable purchase can serve you better than accumulating unfinished tests.

What this comparison does and does not establish

We checked published package features. We have not independently measured question quality, participant-pool size or which provider best predicts CAT results. Accordingly, this page assigns no star ratings or guaranteed outcomes.

Use the official CAT mock when available for interface familiarisation, and use commercial tests for practice and feedback. For the current official structure, follow the linked exam-pattern guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which CAT series is best for everyone?

There is no verified universal winner. Trial the explanations and choose a package suited to your schedule and gaps.

Do I need two paid series?

Not necessarily. First use and analyse the tests you already have.

Are the prices fixed?

No. Check current checkout totals, tax, discounts and access terms on the provider website.

Does a larger mock pool guarantee a better CAT prediction?

No. A commercial mock result should be treated as feedback, not a guaranteed examination forecast.
